Our client, Inchcape Motors Latvia – the world's leading car sales company, which is represented in more than 40 countries is looking for a Country HR Director to join their team!

Resposibilities:

  • Strategic:
    • To be an ambassador of Inchcape’s Group messages in the market – strategy, company goals and performance objectives;
    • Oversee the required Organization Design for the market in conjunction with the leaders of business units and review as required to ensure it is fit for purpose;
    • Implement the strategic vision and develop the HR function in market to ensure the function is the strategic HR business partner;
    • Ensuring the organization has capabilities needed.
  • HR Business Partnership:
    • Provide HR support, guidance and leadership to all managers and employees within the business;
    • Work with the leadership and management teams to understand their business priorities and plan HR activities which will enable the business priorities to be met;
    • Proactively make HR plans with the leadership team which identifies HR areas which could be strengthened and improved and ensure the business is progressive with HR. 
  • Talent Management:
    • Lead Talent Planning processes in the market to identify the right and best people;
    • To hire and develop talent to ensure high succession confidence in the market;
    • Ensure personal development plans are in place and followed through.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Ensure teams have high engagement levels to deliver Inchcape’s growth agenda;
    • Promote culture of recognition and constructive feedback across the market;
    • Ensure all business units have their recognition traditions and calendar to ensure ongoing celebration of success and rewarding special performance.
  • Recruitment:
    • Recruit, develop and retain best-in-class talent;
    • Actively participate in decision making to select the right candidates;
    • Ensure that recruitment process is professional; in line with local legal requirements;
    • Oversee the Induction and exit interviews for new starters and leavers.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Updating policies in line with changing legislation and the needs of the business;
    • Advice and guidance to line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures;
    • Ensure all HR related actions and records are in line with local legislation and Group governance requirements.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    • Ensure that remuneration schemes are in place which reward and incentivize the business targets to be met;
    • Oversee all outsourced payroll provision ensuring best value service is secured;
    • Planning and implementing annual salary review and bonus scheme payment.

Requirements:

  • A degree in organizational psychology, law, or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial HR role;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Significant experience in organization design;
  • Experience in employee relations with a good understanding of employment law;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of benefits;
  • Proven team leader with the ability to manage a diverse team.
